SCOSAG'S 2ND ANNUAL INTERACTIVE PAINTING EXPERIENCE!
The Saint Louis City Open Studio and Gallery (SCOSAG) is hosting another great
party: PAINT BY NUMBERS on Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Mad Art
Gallery (www.madart.com) PAINT BY NUMBERS is an interactive art event
in which SCOSAG provides canvases of famous paintings in history with
outlines, numbers with coordinating colors, paint and brushes and you
fill in the numbers.... just like the activity you did as a child!
Guests will pick their masterpiece of choice, area and number and
begin to paint, just like the masters. All paintings will be available
for purchase through silent auction.
Entertainment includes SCOSAG's own Celia Shacklett singing,
including songs composed at SCOSAG Summer Camp and DJ Innovation will
rock the turntables. PAINT BY NUMBERS will also host a silent
auction that will include unique "how-to" experiences like
printmaking, floral design, knife skills and finding your inner clown!
The paint by numbers finished masterpieces will also be up for silent
auction. Face painting and Do-It-Yourself T-Shirt design will be
drawing the young and old alike! . A full bar and concessions (by the
Mad Art Gallery) will be available for purchase.

WINTER FUN CAMP
Spend three days of creative exploration at the South Gate Lodge of Tower Grove Park, home of SCOSAG!
December 22th, 23th, and 28th and 29th, from 9am to 3pm children ages 5 to 12 are invited to hang out and have some fun with SCOSaG artists and counselors. Music, art, games, storytelling, and maybe some snow! It's going to be fun!
Before and Aftercare is available from 7:30am until 5:30 pm.
TUITION: $180, all 4 days, 9am-3pm
EARLY CARE: $50, begins at $7:30
AFTER CARE: $50, ends at 5:30
