Session 1
Anime (4th and 5th Grades)
Thursdays 5PM - 6PM, February 2nd - March 8th

Anime (6th - 9th Grades)

Join our favorite Anime and Cartooning instructor Tim Snyder for this class designed for both beginning and intermediate students who want to develop and expand their Anime and cartooning illustration skills. Students will learn various techniques & stylistic elements used in Manga and cartooning as well as story and character development. This popular class always sells out, so register early!
Sculpture Studio (1st – 3rd Grades)
Saturdays 9:30AM - 10:30AM, February 4th - March 10th

Sculpture Studio (4th & 5th Grades)
Saturdays 11AM - 12PM, February 4th - March 10th

This class is an exploration of various sculptural media and techniques. Projects will introduce students to working in 3D space. Appropriate for both beginning and intermediate students. A variety of media such as clay, wire, paper mache and found object will be used.
Introduction to Printmaking (6th - 9th Grades)
Tuesdays 6:30PM - 8PM, January 31st - March 6th
$110 per session
Discover the magic of printmaking! Students will learn a variety of printmaking processes such as stamping, collagraphs, transfers, reliefs, and intaglio. Projects will utilize several printmaking media both traditional and alternative such as linoleum blocks, found objects and objects from the natural world. If you are looking for something different than a regular drawing or painting class, this is the class for you!
Painting on Paper (Adults)
Wednesdays 7PM - 8:30PM, February 1st - March 7th
$115 per session
Participants will be creating small works on paper (no larger than 5x7) using mixed-media (painting, drawing materials), creating a series of four or more paintings. The class will focus on creating a series of small compositions in order to focus on extending an idea or subject. Students will learn drawing from photos, printed images, magazines, etc., preparing a gesso surface on paper, drawing line compositions, and working with painting and drawing materials using the drawn compositions.

Watercolor Studio (1st – 3rd Grades)

This introduction to watercolor media will explore various techniques and styles. Appropriate for both beginning and intermediate students who want to learn or improve upon their drawing and painting skills. Several methods of watercolor/painting with water will be explored through a variety of projects.
Street Art (6th - 9th Grades)
Tuesdays 6:30PM - 8PM, April 3rd - May 8th
$110 per session
A focus on creating graphic projects following the appeal of street art. Students will be challenged by rethinking the traditional stigmas of street art but still focusing on it's influences and understanding the significance of it today. Elements of Pop Art, 3-Dimensional drawing, graphic design, character design, and narrative creation will be explored.
Drawing for Non-Artists (Adults)
Wednesdays 7PM - 8:30PM, April 4th - May 9th
$115 per session
This class will focus on developing fundamental observation skills needed to begin still life drawing. Exercises will challenge students' preconceived ideas about drawing. Students will experience a variety of activities that engage spacial, concrete, and holistic brain processes. By looking closely at edges, space, light, and object relationships some of the "mysteries" behind artistry will be revealed. Students will be surprised at their developing ability to render three dimensional objects onto flat paper. This class is designed for individuals with little or no known "talent" or prior drawing training.
Scout Badge Workshops
Earn a badge with SCOSAG! We'll send a SCOSAG artist to your troup meeting to complete the 6 activities needed to earn the badge.
1.5 hour workshops: $15 per scout; 8 scout minimum (most supplies provided, depending on badge)

Let's celebrate your birthday with ART!
SCOSAG offers pARTies for children ages 5 and up. Choose from a variety of fun themes and make your celebration a pARTy!
We will send a SCOSAG artist and supplies for up to 20 to your party for a 45-minute ARTastic activity! Choose from fun themes involving fine art, craft and upcycling. And, each child takes home thier pARTy favor! Please provide one adult helper to assist with the activity. $100
All pARTies must be booked at least one month in advance and require a full a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Cancelations prior to two (2) weeks before party date will receive a refund of 1/2 of the deposit. No refund will be given for cancelations within two weeks of pARTy date.

Weather Policy:
IN CASE OF SNOW... SCOSaG will cancel classes, workshops, and Open Studio on St. Louis Public School snow days. School Daze and Winter/Spring Break camps will only be canceled if there is sufficient snowfall or ice to make it hazardous for faculty and students to travel. If you have any doubt as to whether or not classes or camp is being held, email us at scosag@gmail.com.
Classes and workshops missed due to weather conditions will be made up at the descretion of the Programming Director based on time, space, and staff availability. Missed camp days will be credited to the student's account. No refunds are given for missed classes, workshops or camps.
